Helped a German SAP consulting and software provider build their US operation and quickly develop a robust sales pipeline. Manage their sales operation in North America.
- Re-positioned and re-launched a German software company selling web-based 3D catalog, technical publications and wireless field service applications. Completed strategy assessment, re-positioning and multi-national launch in 5 months, highlighted by excellent press coverage, a prestigious Industry Week Technology of the Year Award and a very strong sales pipeline within five months post-launch. Established and managed distribution partnerships with multi-national CAD service providers. Strategic goal was to position the company for sale, which was accomplished shortly after market introduction.
- Coordinate and led the launch effort for a visualization product from the 3D software division of a global Fortune 100 company.
- Launched and marketed an engineering data analysis software product, producing excellent press coverage (e.g. Scientific American, covers of targeted magazines, numerous highly visible stories) and exceeded revenue goals in its first year.
- Launched a 3D CAD technology developed by a Tier One automotive supplier, capturing a "Top 12 Innovations of 2003" from a leading CAD magazine in the second month post-launch, and a 2004 PACE Award, among the most coveted awards in the automotive industry, only three months later. Also established and managed distribution partnerships through multi-national CAD service providers.
- Helped a 3D software tools company transition to an Internet business model, revised its strategy, re-positioned, re-launched, and developed distribution partnerships.
- Developed numerous partnerships for a small 3D software company to fill out their product offering (“partner rather than develop”) and to increase their revenue.
- Established key strategic partnerships with SAP and other software companies for a small, German 3D software company.
- Led the acquisition and integration of 3 companies and 14 third-party technologies in 18 months for a 3D software company, contributing over 50% of the company’s revenue in the second year.
Assisted in a marketing and business development campaign that helped re-invent and turn around a manufacturing software company from near closure to a successful IPO in two years.
- Introduced a mid-sized digital content management company to various potential partners to assist in the sale of their company, which was successfully executed shortly thereafter.
- Assisted in developing and executing business, marketing and launch plans for the first web-based “application service provider” (ASP) in the manufacturing industry.
- Helped a 3D CAD software company generate more than $3 million over three years from an industry consortium involving software companies, government agencies and large manufacturers.
